The JCR Non-Valved Superlight Race Exhaust System & Manifold Assembly for the 991.2 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (with OPF) / Speedster is engineered for maximum performance, weight reduction, and an uncompromising race-inspired sound. Available in four configurations — Silenced Center Section & Silenced Side Pipes, Silenced Center Section & Non-Silenced Side Pipes, Non-Silenced Center Section & Silenced Side Pipes, and Non-Silenced Center Section & Non-Silenced Side Pipes — this system allows drivers to tailor sound levels and characteristics to their preference. All versions can be paired with optional exhaust tips in Titanium Straight, Titanium Megaphone, Titanium Superlight Megaphone, or Inconel Rolled styles, with finish options including Polished (inconel), Raw (titanium), or Black Coated, while also maintaining compatibility with OEM tips. Designed as a direct replacement for the factory system, the JCR Superlight Race Exhaust delivers enhanced flow, reduced rear-axle mass, and a sharper, more engaging driving experience on both road and track.

Light Weight

JCR, through the use of lightweight materials and innovative design, has significantly reduced the overall weight of the factory 991 GT3 RS (OPF) & Speedster exhaust components. Reducing weight in any performance vehicle delivers notable benefits; however, on this platform, the effects are amplified. By lessening the rear-biased weight distribution, overall balance and handling are improved. JCR’s most extreme exhaust solution for this platform removes over 21kg from behind the rear axle, delivering tangible performance advantages on its own.

Direct Replacement

All JCR 991 GT3 RS (OPF) & Speedster Superlight Race Exhaust Systems are 100% direct replacements for the OEM exhaust system. No additional work is required during installation beyond removing the OEM component and fitting the JCR equivalent with the supplied hardware.

Center Section Versions

Silenced: The JCR Silenced version of the center section offers substantial sound suppression compared to the Non-Silenced variant, achieving a 5dB reduction in volume during full-throttle drive-by noise testing. All JCR Superlight Race Exhaust Systems incorporate a tuned merge for improved exhaust scavenging and a smoother, more refined tone.
Non-Silenced: The JCR Non-Silenced version of the center section provides the greatest weight reduction and the highest overall sound levels. This system is best suited for those seeking an aggressive exhaust note and planning to drive on circuits without noise restrictions. All JCR Superlight Race Exhaust Systems incorporate a tuned merge for improved exhaust scavenging and a smoother, more refined tone.

Valve Delete

The JCR Titanium Non-Silenced and Silenced options remove the factory valve-switching function for a purer driving experience and maximum exhaust flow. All 991 GT3 RS (OPF) & Speedster models utilize electronic valve control, which, if removed without consideration, can cause poor running and check engine lights. To prevent this, all Non-Valved JCR Superlight Race Exhaust Systems include the JCR Valve Delete Kit, ensuring the car operates flawlessly as per OEM specifications.

Side Silencer Versions

Silenced: The JCR Inconel Race Side Silencers replace the restrictive factory assembly with a high-flow HJS 200-cell silencer, greatly improving exhaust flow and performance. For vehicles without OPF monitoring, these Race Silencers typically avoid triggering a check engine light and do not require tuning, though in certain cases a CEL may still occur due to factors such as poor fuel quality or heavy load before the system reaches full operating temperature. As such, JCR does not guarantee the absence of CELs when using these parts.
Non-Silenced: The JCR Titanium Side Silencers completely remove the restrictive factory assembly for maximum performance and sound.

RSR Sound

At higher RPMs, the JCR Superlight Race Exhaust System delivers the distinctive “RSR” sound that is highly sought after.

Testing Procedure

As with all JCR products, extensive testing is conducted before release. Development of this particular product began in 2021.

Power Increase & Real World Performance Improvements

Every component in the JCR Exhaust line is engineered to improve horsepower and torque, with gains dependent on the specific combination of parts. The JCR Superlight Race Exhaust Systems can deliver up to 26hp and 36tq, along with enhanced engine response and midrange performance. By optimizing the manifold design and removing the highly restrictive factory assembly, the system not only produces an aggressive race-inspired tone but also significantly improves exhaust flow. This results in increased power and torque while greatly reducing operating temperatures under hard driving. Testing has shown that OPF-equipped naturally aspirated vehicles can lose substantial power during extended runs due to excessive heat buildup. With the JCR system, performance remains consistent, with even greater gains achieved during long track sessions compared to the OEM exhaust system.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
