The JCR Non-Valved Superlight Exhaust System & Manifold Assembly is a direct replacement for the OEM exhaust system on the 992 Porsche 911 GT3, GT3 RS, GT3 Touring, and S/T. This non-valved system provides maximum flow and sound by deleting the factory valve switching function. It is available in four configurations — Silenced with Race Silencers, which provides a 5dB reduction for track-day noise limits; Silenced with Silencer Deletes, for a moderate balance of sound and weight reduction; Non-Silenced with Race Silencers, for a very aggressive sound on tracks with no noise limits; and Non-Silenced with Silencer Deletes, which offers the most extreme weight savings and sound. This comprehensive system is crafted from lightweight titanium and Inconel, and is guaranteed to deliver significant gains of up to 26hp and 36tq. It is completed with a choice of JCR-specific tips, including the Titanium Race Megaphone (raw or black coated) or the Inconel Race Rolled (polished or black coated).

Inconel Race Manifolds

JCR’s Inconel Race Exhaust Manifolds are engineered for uncompromising performance using lightweight, heat-resistant Inconel 625. These manifolds provide sound control without restricting exhaust flow. By removing factory limitations, they deliver a sharper throttle response, enhanced mid-range torque, and a more aggressive, race-inspired sound.

Center Section Version

Silenced: JCR’s Silenced version of the center section provides a good amount of sound suppression versus their non-silenced version, delivering a 5dB drop in volume on full-throttle drive-by noise tests. All of the JCR Superlight Race Exhaust Systems feature a tuned merge for an improved exhaust scavenging effect and a smoother, more pleasant tone.
Non-Silenced: JCR’s Non-Silenced version of the center section provides the greatest level of weight savings and the largest increase in overall sound level. This system is best suited for those looking to achieve a very aggressive sound and who plan to drive their cars on circuits with no noise limits. All of the JCR Superlight Race Exhaust Systems feature a tuned merge for an improved exhaust scavenging effect and a smoother, more pleasant tone.

Silencer Version

Race Silencers: JCR’s Inconel Race Silencer features a high-flow 200-cell HJS core. As a result, flow is greatly increased, and improved performance follows. For cars with no OPF monitoring, JCR’s Race Silencers will in most cases not cause any CEL and do not require any tuning. In certain instances, it’s still possible for a CEL to occur. This tends to happen if the car has poor fuel quality or excess load is applied before the engine and exhaust system are up to full operating temperature. With this in mind, JCR does not guarantee that there is no chance of a CEL with these parts installed.
Silencer Deletes: With JCR’s Inconel Silencer Delete, the factory restrictive assembly is removed entirely for maximum performance and sound.

Light Weight

Through the use of lightweight materials and clever design, JCR has managed to significantly reduce the overall weight of the factory 992 exhaust components. While any weight reduction is beneficial in a performance vehicle, the gains are exaggerated on this platform, as reducing the rear-biased weight distribution helps to improve overall balance and handling. JCR’s most extreme exhaust solution for this platform drops over 21kg of weight from behind the rear axle, yielding real performance benefits on its own.

Direct Replacement

All of JCR’s 992 Superlight Race Exhaust Systems are a 100% direct replacement for the OEM exhaust system. No further work is required during installation beyond removing the OEM part and replacing it with its JCR equivalent along with any supplied hardware.

Valve Delete

JCR’s Titanium Non-Silenced & Silenced options delete the factory valve switching function for a more pure driving experience and maximum flow. All 992 models feature electronic valve control which, if removed without consideration, will cause poor running and check engine lights. With this in mind, all of JCR’s non-valved Superlight Race Exhaust Systems include their Valve Delete Kit, which ensures no concerns for owners. Simply install the JCR Valve Delete Kit and the car will run perfectly as per OEM.

RSR Sound

At the top end of the rpm range, JCR’s Superlight Race Exhaust System configurations deliver that well-known “RSR” sound that enthusiasts love.

Testing Procedure

As with all JCR products, JCR tests its products extensively prior to release. They have been working on this particular product since 2021.

Power Increase & Real World Performance Improvements

Every component of the JCR Exhaust line is guaranteed to improve horsepower and torque, with the degree of improvement depending on the specific combination of parts. JCR’s Superlight Race Exhaust Systems will see gains up to 26hp and 36tq along with great improvements in engine response and mid-range punch. Optimizing the manifold design not only brings a hard-edged race car sound but also drastically improves flow, resulting in increased HP and TQ while reducing temperatures significantly when driving hard on the road or track. JCR found that the latest generation of normally aspirated OPF-equipped vehicles has a strong tendency to actually reduce power output significantly on longer runs due to excessive heat buildup. Along with outright improved performance comes much improved consistency and even larger performance gains on longer track sessions versus the OEM exhaust system.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates.
