HKS’s Hipermax R Package for FL5 Honda Civic Type R puts the two upgrades that change the car most into one order: the LEGAMAX Sports exhaust and the Hipermax R coilover kit. The exhaust removes the factory valve mechanism and drops exhaust pressure by roughly 30 percent, opening up the top end and giving the K20C a voice worth listening to; the Hipermax R is the more track-focused damper in the HKS range, and it turns a car that already handles into one that rewards precision. Design and Performance

Exhaust and suspension work on different problems, which is why pairing them makes a bigger difference than spending the same money on either alone. The LEGAMAX Sports side replaces the factory valved system with a valveless 74.7mm full-straight path into twin 60.5mm outlets and a 119mm titanium tail, and the dedicated actuator for the factory valve motor is included so no fault codes are recorded. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
