The do88 Performance Turbo Inlet Hoses for the 992.1 Porsche 911 Carrera offer a refined upgrade to the vehicle’s revised inlet system. Designed to maximize airflow, these hoses ensure cooler, denser air reaches the turbos, enhancing the driving experience. Featuring a textured black finish, CNC-machined adapters for precise turbo connections, and premium black hose clamps, the kit seamlessly integrates with both OE air filter boxes and the do88 air filter system with 66 mm connections. While these hoses provide a notable standalone improvement, they achieve their full potential when paired with the do88 air filter system, eliminating restrictions before the turbo inlets and unlocking maximum turbo performance. This kit is an essential first step in optimizing the performance of the Porsche 911.

Considerations

The efficiency of a turbocharged engine is heavily influenced by inlet air temperature (IAT) and system backpressure. A key factor, often overlooked, is ensuring sufficient airflow before the compressor to prevent surge. Reduced vacuum and cooler air allow the turbo to generate a larger air mass, ultimately increasing the air delivered to the intake and resulting in noticeable power gains. A well-designed induction system can unlock significant performance improvements. Years of experience and extensive evaluation have consistently demonstrated the strong relationship between IAT, sufficient airflow to the compressor, and overall engine output. The Porsche 911, with its twin turbochargers and immense tuning potential, has always demanded greater airflow—and continues to do so.

Turbo Inlet Hoses

Development began with a 3D scan of the designated area on the car, enabling precise design within a CAD environment using SolidWorks. The air filter system was meticulously optimized for airflow, with radiuses and angles refined multiple times to achieve peak performance. The final product was rigorously tested and verified using Computational Flow Dynamics (CFD) and the Superflow SF1020 flowbench to ensure reliable and accurate performance data. Every aspect of the process was designed to provide a product that enhances performance while delivering real and trustworthy results.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US.
