Design & Engineering

• The inline-6 engines in the R32 Skyline, from the 2.0L RB20 to the legendary RB26, are known for their durability and reliability. The RB26, particularly in the R32 GT-R, is renowned for delivering big power while maintaining dependability. However, increased power inevitably generates more heat, and while the factory radiator manages heat adequately, greater protection is always beneficial. Understanding this, CSF designed a premium radiator to provide exceptional cooling performance and durability that lasts a lifetime. Given the R32’s status as a valuable collector’s car, using top-quality components is essential for restoration or modification. CSF’s radiator features CNC-machined billet aluminum end tanks, TIG-welded by hand to a high-grade aluminum core, delivering outstanding performance and reliability with a finish that matches its superior functionality.

OEM vs CSF

• CSF’s 2-row 42mm core not only significantly increases the radiator’s fluid capacity but also enhances its heat dissipation capabilities. Featuring CSF’s exclusive B-Tube Technology, the core achieves approximately 15% greater heat transfer compared to standard oval welded tubes. Additionally, the highly efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the core, delivering optimal performance. The increased number of cooling rows improves overall efficiency, providing more surface area for heat to dissipate from the coolant. Each end tank is crafted from CNC-machined billet aluminum, offering exceptional strength and durability. CNC machining ensures precision and uniformity, resulting in end tanks that seamlessly align with the 42mm core. The tanks are hand TIG-welded to the core, creating the most robust radiator available for the R32 Skyline. Included with each radiator is a 1.4-bar high-pressure cap embossed with the CSF logo. These high-pressure caps raise the coolant’s boiling point, offering an added layer of protection against overheating. While the radiator is designed to maintain safe operating temperatures, this added feature ensures extra security during extreme conditions.
