CSF acknowledges that while the Porsche 944 may not be the first car associated with the term “classic Porsche,” it holds a special place in the hearts of many enthusiasts. Maintaining optimal engine cooling is a key concern for 944 owners striving to keep their vehicles running like new. With OEM replacements becoming increasingly scarce and limited reliable aftermarket options, CSF collaborated closely with Joe Anselmo Motorsports to develop a solution. CSF is proud to introduce its high-performance all-aluminum radiator and fan & shroud kit, designed specifically for the Porsche 944 (NA and Turbo).

Design & Engineering

CSF collaborated with Joe Anselmo Motorsports, a leading Porsche service center in Southern California specializing in 944 models, to design a radiator compatible with all Porsche 944 variants. Leveraging Joe’s expertise, CSF developed a high-performance radiator that serves as a true plug-and-play, drop-in fit upgrade. CNC-machined mounting brackets ensure precise fitment, and the OEM-style slip-on inlet/outlet connections allow compatibility with both OEM and aftermarket radiator hoses. Recognizing the common incompatibility between OEM NA and Turbo radiators—due to the Turbo version being approximately one inch taller—CSF based its design on the dimensions of the NA radiator while increasing core capacity to surpass the cooling performance of the OEM Turbo radiator. Featuring a 2-row 42mm core with CSF’s exclusive B-Tube Technology, the radiator achieves superior cooling without size limitations. To address the height differential for 944 Turbo installations, CSF includes CNC billet spacers, ensuring seamless fitment across all models.

Attention to Detail

CSF incorporated removable and adjustable crossover pipe brackets on the top of the radiator to accommodate the specific needs of the Porsche 944 Turbo. The Turbo model features a crossover cooling pipe, which distributes coolant from the reservoir to the radiator and from the coolant pump housing to the cylinder head, while the NA version does not require this feature. Traditionally, the factory design relies on zip ties to secure this pipe, preventing it from rattling. With input from Joe Anselmo, CSF added these brackets as a thoughtful enhancement, offering a more refined and secure installation that exceeds the factory setup.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
