Moshammer Carrera Rear Diffuser for 991.2 Porsche 911 Carrera

Moshammer Carrera Rear Diffuser is the plainer of the company’s two 991.2 rear treatments, and for a good number of owners it is the better one. Without a vented frame it reads as one continuous surface below the bumper, aerodynamically effective and visually quiet, which suits a Carrera meant to look standard until somebody knows where to look. Berlin produces it to order, unpainted, with mounting material and a TUV parts certificate (§19.3) in the box, and installation works to the original screw points and clips so nothing on the car is permanently altered. It is close to the definition of OEM+: a change you would struggle to describe and would immediately miss.

Continuous Rear Surface

Where the Evo version layers a vented frame and grills, this diffuser keeps to a single flowing surface below the bumper. The result is quieter, and on a subtle colour it can be almost invisible until the light catches the fins. Owners who want the aerodynamic and visual benefit without a technical, motorsport-influenced rear tend to choose this one.

Screw Points and Clips

The diffuser installs using the original screw points and clips, which is worth knowing if you intend to return the car to standard one day. There is no cutting and no permanent modification to the rear bumper. That reversibility is part of why Moshammer’s components sit comfortably on well-kept cars.

Made to Order

Nothing here is mass produced. Moshammer builds each diffuser in Berlin in small batches, delivered unpainted with its mounting material and a TUV parts certificate (§19.3). The trade for that approach is a wait, and the return is a part that fits as though it belongs.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from the Evo version? This one is a continuous lower surface. The Evo adds a vented frame with mesh grills for exhaust cooling and a more technical appearance, at a higher price.
Can it be removed later? Yes. It installs at the original screw points and clips, so the car can be returned to standard without bodywork repair.
What is supplied with it? The diffuser arrives unpainted with the mounting material and a TUV parts certificate (§19.3).

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less.
