What is in the Power Package for S550 Ford Mustang EcoBoost?

The Power Package for S550 Ford Mustang EcoBoost contains the Accessport V3, part AP3-FOR-003, and the COBB High Flow Filter, part 7M1101. The filter replaces the factory element in the stock airbox, and the Accessport flashes a COBB Stage 1 map to the ECU.

Is this Stage 1 package legal in California?

Yes. COBB lists California Air Resources Board Executive Order numbers D-660-6 and D-660-149 for this package, the Accessport and filter together, which allows sale and use on emissions controlled vehicles in all 50 states when installed according to the COBB application guide.

Does the package fit the High Performance Package and Active Exhaust Mustang?

Yes. COBB confirms the High Performance Package from 2020 through 2023 and Active Exhaust cars from 2019 through 2023, manual or automatic, on USDM cars. Mustang GT and V6 models are not covered, because the Accessport is written for the 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine only.

How hard is the Stage 1 install on a 2015-2023 Mustang EcoBoost?

It is a driveway job. The filter swaps into the factory airbox, and Accessport prompts identify the exact car and list the maps available for it. Everything needed for the flash ships in the box, and the factory calibration can be restored from the Uninstall menu.

Can I add more parts later and keep using this Accessport?

Yes. COBB writes Off The Shelf maps for most bolt-on modifications, so the Accessport in the Power Package for S550 Ford owners can be reflashed as parts are added. When a build outgrows the staged maps, it can carry a custom tune from a COBB Protuner.

Description

COBB Tuning Stage 1 Power Package for S550 Ford Mustang EcoBoost

COBB Tuning’s Power Package for S550 Ford Mustang EcoBoost owners pairs an Accessport V3 that flashes the ECU with a washable High Flow Filter for the factory airbox. CARB Executive Orders D-660-6 and D-660-149 keep it legal in all 50 states. It suits a stock 2015-2023 EcoBoost; an owner already buying an intake or intercooler will want a later stage map, which this same Accessport can carry.

Tuning and Support

Most of the value sits in the Accessport V3. It swaps the conservative factory settings for a COBB Off The Shelf map, then stays on the dash as a gauge reading live ECU data. It holds up to 100 maps, records up to 10 hours of logs and times 0-60 mph and quarter mile runs, so the Power Package for S550 Ford Mustang owner gets more than a power change.

Features

Accessport V3 for Ford Mustang EcoBoost with a larger, full color, higher resolution screen
Customizable multi-gauge display with an in-vehicle mount and interchangeable faceplates
Uninstall option returns the ECU to its original factory calibration
High Flow Filter uses pre-oiled, washable and reusable cotton woven media with metal mesh on a precision molded rubber base
Filter is compatible with COBB Accessport OTS maps

About COBB Tuning

COBB Tuning was founded by Trey Cobb in 1999 in Rockwall, Texas, as a Subaru performance shop in the back of his father’s tire shop, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas. In 2004 COBB introduced the Accessport, a handheld ECU tuning device that flashes COBB’s off-the-shelf maps or a custom tune and doubles as a real-time gauge and datalogger. The range has since grown from Subaru to Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota platforms, with intakes, intercoolers, exhausts and flex fuel kits engineered alongside the tuning, and many COBB parts carry California Air Resources Board Executive Order numbers for use in all 50 states.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
