Which model years does the Accessport V3 for FE1 Honda support?

The COBB application list covers the 2022, 2023 and 2024 Honda Civic Si with the manual transmission, sold in the US market. Later model years are not on the list for AP3-HON-004, so send us the VIN before ordering for a newer car and we will confirm coverage with COBB.

Is the Accessport CARB approved for California?

Yes. COBB lists CARB Executive Order numbers D-660-226 and D-660-328 for this application. That makes the Accessport V3 for FE1 Honda legal for sale and use on emissions controlled vehicles in all 50 states, including California, provided it is used in line with the COBB application guide.

Does it fit the earlier tenth generation Civic Si?

No. The 2017 to 2020 Civic Si sedan and coupe, known as FC1 and FC3, use a separate Accessport with part number AP3-HON-002. The two units carry different software and CARB approvals, so match the part number to the model year.

Can I use the Accessport without changing the tune?

Yes. The Stage 0 map keeps all factory calibration data and adds no power, yet the screen still shows six live engine parameters, records datalogs of up to 10 hours, reads and clears trouble codes, and times acceleration runs. Owners can move to a performance map later without buying anything else.

How do I return the car to stock?

Choose Uninstall from the main menu and the Accessport restores the ECU to exactly the state it was in before the first flash. COBB warns that installing over anything other than OEM or COBB software can cause ECU or TCU failure, so speak with COBB support first if the car has been tuned by another company.

Description

COBB Tuning Accessport V3 for FE1 Honda Civic Si

COBB Tuning’s Accessport V3 for FE1 Honda Civic Si brings COBB engine calibration to the eleventh-generation Si built from 2022 to 2024, and two CARB Executive Orders, D-660-226 and D-660-328, keep it street legal in every state. COBB quotes roughly seven minutes for installation, done at the OBDII port with the supplied cable. It is the right first purchase for any COBB-based build, and an owner not ready to change the tune can run it purely as a gauge and logger.

Maps and Calibration

Every Accessport V3 for FE1 Honda ships with COBB Off The Shelf maps already on board, and the same files are available to download from COBB. Calibrators build them for an otherwise stock Si; a replacement filter in the stock airbox, or an exhaust that keeps the factory catalytic converters, is listed by COBB as safe to pair with them. Anything beyond the parts COBB lists is a job for a custom map from a COBB tuner, which loads onto the same device.

About COBB Tuning

COBB Tuning was founded by Trey Cobb in 1999 in Rockwall, Texas, as a Subaru performance shop in the back of his father’s tire shop, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas. In 2004 COBB introduced the Accessport, a handheld ECU tuning device that flashes COBB’s off-the-shelf maps or a custom tune and doubles as a real-time gauge and datalogger. The range has since grown from Subaru to Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota platforms, with intakes, intercoolers, exhausts and flex fuel kits engineered alongside the tuning, and many COBB parts carry California Air Resources Board Executive Order numbers for use in all 50 states.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
