What does TCM mean on the No Intake TCM Silver FMIC package?

TCM is the transmission control module. The Accessport in the No Intake TCM Silver FMIC package can flash it, adding Off The Shelf transmission tunes that adjust shift points, shift firmness, skip shift behavior and torque limits. The standard Accessport V3 in the non-TCM package tunes the engine computer only.

Is an intake included in this kit?

No. This version leaves the factory airbox and intake tubing on the truck and supplies the TCM Accessport, the silver front mount intercooler, a vehicle badge and the CARB sticker. COBB sells a separate Stage 2 package with TCM that also includes the Intake System with dual 3 inch aluminum tubes.

Which trucks are confirmed for fitment?

COBB confirms USDM 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor trucks and USDM 2019 and 2020 F-150 Limited trucks. Both are P552 generation models with the 3.5L EcoBoost. The 2021 and newer Raptor does not appear on the confirmed application list for this package.

Can the truck be returned to stock later?

Yes. The Accessport has an Uninstall option in its main menu that reverts the ECU to exactly the state it was in before the first flash. The intercooler is a bolt-in part apart from minor grille trimming, so the factory unit can be refitted if the original was kept.

Is this package legal for street use in California?

Yes. COBB lists CARB Executive Orders D-660-32 and D-660-245 for this package, which makes it legal for sale and use on emissions controlled vehicles in all 50 states when installed according to the COBB application guide. A CARB sticker ships in the box for inspection purposes.

Description

COBB Tuning Stage 2 No Intake TCM Silver FMIC Package for P552 Ford F-150 Raptor and Limited

COBB Tuning’s No Intake TCM Silver FMIC package is built around the AP3-FOR-005-TCM Accessport, which flashes the transmission control module as well as the engine computer, and the silver 7F2500-SL front mount intercooler with its 24 x 14 x 3.5 inch core. The owner it suits drives a 2017-2020 Raptor or 2019-2020 F-150 Limited, wants the gearbox to shift on his terms, and is content with the factory intake or already runs one. If shift behavior does not bother you, the non-TCM version costs less. CARB EO D-660-32 and D-660-245 make it legal in all 50 states.

Transmission Tuning

Flashing the TCM is what separates this Accessport from the standard unit. COBB loads Off The Shelf transmission tunes that change shift points, shift firmness, skip shift behavior and torque limits, so the No Intake TCM Silver FMIC kit can be set up for towing, daily driving or harder use from the same handheld.

Off The Shelf transmission tunes for shift points, firmness and torque limits
Silver front mount intercooler core measuring 24 x 14 x 3.5 in

About COBB Tuning

COBB Tuning was founded by Trey Cobb in 1999 in Rockwall, Texas, as a Subaru performance shop in the back of his father’s tire shop, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas. In 2004 COBB introduced the Accessport, a handheld ECU tuning device that flashes COBB’s off-the-shelf maps or a custom tune and doubles as a real-time gauge and datalogger. The range has since grown from Subaru to Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota platforms, with intakes, intercoolers, exhausts and flex fuel kits engineered alongside the tuning, and many COBB parts carry California Air Resources Board Executive Order numbers for use in all 50 states.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
