The BRIDE ZIEG IV WIDE CLASSIC Bucket Seat puts the styling of the previous-generation ZIEG III back onto BRIDE’s current deep hold platform without touching the shell underneath. Small-diameter belt holes and gray double stitching across the cover recreate the look of BRIDE’s earlier bucket seats, while the shape, materials and rigidity stay pure ZIEG IV. Black flame-retardant fabric covers a silver FRP shell at 8.7kg, and the half-covered seat back means no seat back protector is needed when the seat goes in front of a rear bench. It suits drivers who find a standard full bucket tight across the thighs or shoulders and want period-correct presence with the wraparound hold the ZIEG shell is built for.

The ZIEG Series

ZIEG is the deep hold shape in the BRIDE full bucket range, developed out of racing experience and direct feedback from professional drivers. The rounded backrest line wraps the driver from the hips through the shoulders and holds them in place under sustained lateral G, without the pressure points that come from a seat that grips by being narrow. The patented LOWMAX System works with the egg-shaped backrest to set the seat lower than a conventional full bucket allows, putting the eye point and driving posture where car control wants them, which matters most in cars where headroom is tight. The FRP shell carries glass fiber and aramid fiber for 15% more rigidity than the previous construction, and molded urethane is used for the seat and thigh cushions that take the driver weight directly.

The WIDE CLASSIC

This is the classical treatment of the wide deep hold shell: the sharply drawn small-diameter belt holes of the ZIEG III return, and gray double stitching is added to the cover. BRIDE builds the wide shell about 30mm wider at the thighs and about 10mm wider at the shoulders than the standard ZIEG IV, so the extra room comes from the shell rather than from softer padding and the deep hold character is kept. The shell is a silver FRP unit finished in black flame-retardant fabric. Because the upper back shell is half-covered from the factory, no seat back protector is needed when the seat is fitted in front of a rear seat.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
