The AWE Tuning Touring Edition Exhaust for the DE5 Acura Integra Type S is a 3″ T304L stainless steel downpipe-back system built to deliver straight-through performance without any cabin drone. An integrated front pipe, thick-walled mid-pipe resonator, and a rear section tuned with AWE’s 180 Technology work together to produce a deep, controlled exhaust note while keeping the highway quiet. The system works with or without an aftermarket catted downpipe and is engineered specifically around the K20 engine for balanced performance, drivability, and long-term reliability.

Touring Edition Exhaust

• The Touring Edition runs a full 3″ T304L stainless steel downpipe-back layout with an integrated front pipe, a solid mid-pipe resonator, and a DE5-specific tuning of AWE’s 180 Technology at the rear. The result is straight-pipe performance, a deep exhaust note, and no drone at highway speeds. It’s a daily driver setup that doesn’t sacrifice character to stay livable.

What is 180 Technology?

• AWE’s patented 180 Technology keeps drone out of the cabin by targeting the frequencies that would otherwise resonate at highway speeds, all within a package built specifically for the Integra. Exhaust gases from the K20 pass through strategically placed ports and into reflection chambers inside the resonator, where sound waves bounce off the walls. The size and placement of those ports and chambers control exactly when the reflected waves re-enter the main flow, producing a wave that runs 180 degrees out of phase with the problem frequencies and cancels them out. The design is fully straight-through, so there’s no restriction, no compromised power, and no drone.
