AWE Tuning Touring Edition Axle-Back Exhaust w/ Chrome Tips For C7 Chevrolet Corvette

The AWE Tuning Touring Edition Axle-Back Exhaust with Chrome Tips is fully engineered, designed, and manufactured in-house in the USA, built from 3″ CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel with .065″ wall thickness sourced domestically and finished with 4.5″ double-walled chrome silver tips. The straight-through, non-baffled layout maximizes flow and cuts weight, while AWE’s 180 Technology® handles drone cancellation so the cabin stays comfortable on long drives without giving up the sound at wide-open throttle. For AFM-equipped C7 Corvettes, AWE includes AFM Valve Simulators in the package. Dyno-proven numbers come in at peak gains of 18 hp and 16 lb-ft of torque, with maximum gains of 22 hp at 6,400rpm and 20lb-ft at 4,000rpm at the wheels. The system is also available in the louder Track Edition for those who want more volume.

Touring Edition Exhaust

• The AWE Touring Edition Axle-Back is built from 3″ T304L stainless steel and uses patented 180 Technology® to keep cruising quiet while delivering an aggressive tone under throttle. The kit includes over-axle tubes, rear 180 Technology® resonators, and 4.5″ double-walled slash-cut tips in your choice of Chrome Silver or Diamond Black, with each tip individually adjustable for placement.

What is 180 Technology?

• AWE’s 180 Technology® works through resonators built with precisely positioned ports and reflection chambers that control sound waves as they move through the exhaust. The chambers reflect those waves back into the main flow 180 degrees out of phase, which cancels the frequencies responsible for drone without choking performance. Port sizing and placement are tuned to each specific platform, so the result is a controlled, consistent exhaust note that cuts out harshness while keeping power and tone intact.

Conversion Kits

• AWE Tuning designed the system to allow easy conversion between Track and Touring Editions, giving drivers the ability to adjust cabin sound levels as needed.

• The AWE AFM Valve Simulators included with the system are necessary for vehicles equipped with AFM, including the 2014–2016 Corvette Stingray, Z51 Auto, Z51 Manual, and Grand Sport Auto models.
