Which cars does this GTC-500 wing for NA2 Honda fit?

This GTC-500 wing for NA2 Honda fits the NA2 Honda NSX, which we list as 1997-2005, the years of the 3.2L C32B engine. The page lists the NA2 only, so confirm your model and model year with us before ordering.

Does it fit the NA1, the NSX-T or an automatic NSX?

The page lists the NA2 only, though its image file name mentions both the NA1 and NA2. The NA1 used the earlier 3.0L engine, and automatic cars kept that 3.0L engine throughout, so confirm with us before ordering if your car is one of those. The page also does not mention the NSX-T targa or the pre-2002 pop-up headlight cars.

Is it only for widebody cars?

The page says the wing provides the highest amount of downforce to widebody sports and touring cars because of its 71-inch span. It does not say whether it suits a stock-width NSX, so contact us with your car's body before ordering.

How does it mount, and what happens to the factory wing?

The page gives no mounting details and does not say how the wing attaches or whether it replaces a factory wing. It lists 10mm 6061 billet aluminum pedestals. Contact us for the installation details before ordering.

What is the wing made from, and does it have Gurney flaps?

Carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) airfoils with pre-soaked woven carbon fiber sheets, made with pre-impregnated composite production, a high-temperature autoclave, vacuum bagging and aluminum billet molds, on 10mm 6061 billet aluminum pedestals with a flat black powder coat. The span is 71 inches. The page does not mention Gurney flaps or an angle-adjustment range, so contact us if you need those details.

What is the PPF film option, and how long does delivery take?

PPF film is an optional extra for an additional $200, chosen at checkout. The wing is made to order or special order from the manufacturer, so we confirm the estimated lead time after you order. Talk to us first if you have a specific deadline.

Technical Features

The GTC Series wings are designed with an aerodynamic 3D airfoil shape to maximize downforce while minimizing drag. This design has been tested and confirmed through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analyses, resulting in a perfect balance of downforce.
The GTC Series airfoils are constructed with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite materials which make them both lightweight and tough. These airfoils consist of pre-soaked woven carbon fiber sheets that offer exceptional strength while staying light in weight. High temperature autoclave, vacuum bagging along with high grade aluminum billet molds are used to fabricate these airfoils employing pre-impregnated composite production techniques.
- The GTC Series airfoils, which are constructed from durable and lightweight carbon fiber composites, are reinforced with 10mm 6061 billet aluminum pedestals. These aircraft-grade supports feature a flat black powder coat finish for added sturdiness as they hold up the carbon fiber airfoils.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
