NOVITEC has released its tuning package for the Ferrari Purosangue. Following the likes of the Ferrari 812, Ferrari ROMA, and the 296, the German tuner now completes the current Ferrari lineup with aftermarket upgrades for the Purosangue. For the Purosangue, however, NOVITEC has released only suspension and exhaust upgrades. For the latter, buyers can choose from a flap-activated system, a race exhaust with flaps for when you can’t decide between loud and louder, or a straight-up race exhaust when you don’t care and want the whole town to know you’re coming home. And even though NOVITEC hasn’t added a power upgrade for this vehicle yet, the aftermarket exhaust system “completely transforms the driving experience” of Ferrari’s most practical model.
And after all, the Ferrari Purosangue stock is no slouch either.
The Purosangue is powered by a naturally-aspirated 6.5 liter V12 engine, delivering 715 horsepower and 520lb-ft (716Nm) of torque, where most of it – around 80% of the total torque delivery – is available at just 2100 RPM. The engine is mated with an eight-speed Ferrari DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) transmission with a dry sump. This arrangement allows a 35% improvement in performance due to the presence of new clutches capable of withstanding up to 1200 Nm during gear changes. Add the all-wheel-drive system derived from the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso, which consists of two gearboxes: an 8-speed transaxle mounted at the rear and a second one mounted at the front directly connected to the engine with two gears, resulting in a near-perfect weight distribution of 49% in the front and 51% in the rear. In turn, you’ve got yourself one fast car, by all means.
This allows the Purosangue to sprint from 0 to 62mph (0 to 100km/h) in just 3.3 seconds, and it will push it to a 10.6 second 0-124mph (0-200km/h) time, reaching a top speed of 192mph (310km/h). As a result, one may easily guess why NOVITEC focused on suspension upgrades and exhaust sound improvements. How does it sound? You can take a look at yourself in the video below. It sounds fantastic, even a bit too loud in some circumstances. But after all, it’s a Ferrari. It’s supposed to be visually striking, fast, and obnoxiously loud.
The current suspension upgrades allow customers to lower their car thanks to the new set of sport springs, lowering the high-riding SUV by 25-30 mm (1-1.2 inches). The springs are fully compatible with Ferrari’s factory lift system and can be paired with spacers for a broader, more aggressive stance.
Furthermore, NOVITEC also released their wheel lineup for the Purosangue: customers can opt-in for the NOVITEC NF9, NF11 ZV Look, or the NF10 ZV look wheels. All are lightweight, all forged, and all made for the particular requirements of the Ferrari Purosangue. Plus, these are available in several custom finishes so that you can easily match your specific taste in that regard. And if you need more width from your Purosangue, NOVITEC released their spacers, which are offered in sizes ranging from 10mm to 20mm, offering a perfect fit for enhanced performance and style. For now, the NOVITEC upgrades for this platform are limited to the suspension, exhaust, and wheels detailed above.
