Speed is what makes track days hard on an Exige S’s suspension. The supercharged S2 arrives at the end of a straight noticeably faster than the naturally aspirated car. Every brake zone, curb and fast corner hits the dampers harder, and session after session the loads build. The Nitron Exige S NTR-R1 ClubSport kit is set up for that. Nitron uses stiffer springs and firmer valving than in the FastRoad kit and runs the car lower. The Nitron Exige S NTR-R1 ClubSport keeps the S flat on the brakes, steady under power on corner exit, and composed through quick corners where the splitter and rear wing start making real downforce. It’s meant for owners who track the car regularly and still drive it to the circuit. A single adjuster at each corner sets bump and rebound together. Between sessions you can make one quick change per corner and keep moving. Mounting brackets are included, supplied for your car’s drive side.

Unique Technology

Nitron’s race department developed the NTR-R1, and the Nitron Exige S NTR-R1 ClubSport has much of the same internal hardware as the NTR-R3 that Nitron runs in international motorsport. Each damper is self-contained, with its gas charge and oil inside the body and no remote canister or hoses. The dampers are mounted inverted, which moves weight from the hub side to the chassis side. Less unsprung mass lets the tires keep their grip over curbs and patched track surfaces. Very low internal friction means the Nitron Exige S NTR-R1 starts controlling the wheel from its first millimeter of travel. That precision lets the stiffer ClubSport springs control the car without skipping over ripples, and it keeps the car stable as it loads up through high-speed corners. Higher track speeds also mean more heat in the dampers. The Nitron Exige S NTR-R1 ClubSport is built to resist fade, so the balance you had on your out-lap is still there at the end of the session.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
