Which cars use the 2ZZ-GE this set is coded for?

Injector Dynamics lists the 30.01 application for the Lotus Elise and Exige from 2005 onward and the Toyota Celica GTS from 2000 to 2005. All of them use the 2ZZ-GE four cylinder. If your car is not on that list, confirm the fitment with Injector Dynamics or our team before ordering.

Is the ID1300-XDS Fuel Injector Set suited to a supercharged Elise?

Yes, for a supercharged Elise or Exige that has outgrown its injectors, especially on E85. The ID1300-XDS Fuel Injector Set flows about 1335cc per minute per injector, with a minimum fuel mass that keeps idle clean on gasoline. Higher outputs on ethanol may call for the 1750 or 2600 versions of this fitment.

Can a Celica GTS run E85 with these injectors?

Yes. The ID1300-XDS is compatible with all known fuels and was designed for alternative fuels in particular. E85 needs roughly a third more fuel volume than gasoline, so a boosted Celica GTS on ethanol needs a fuel pump and calibration to match, with the Injector Dynamics characterization data as the starting point.

How does a tuner set up the ID1300-XDS?

By loading the Injector Dynamics characterization data into the engine management, covering flow, offset at different voltages and pressures, and short pulse behavior. Base fueling then starts close to correct, and the session can go to boost and timing rather than injector errors.

Is there a warranty, and what voids it?

Yes. Injector Dynamics gives one year from purchase against manufacturer defects, conditional on the correct fuel and proper filtration, so contamination from a dirty tank or a missing filter is the main risk. Single replacements for a matched set come from Injector Dynamics.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS Fuel Injector Set for 2ZZ-GE Lotus Elise, Exige and Toyota Celica GTS

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS Fuel Injector Set for 2ZZ-GE Lotus Elise, Exige and Toyota Celica GTS fits four 1335cc/min injectors with 60mm bodies and blue 11mm tops to the engine found in the 2005-on Lotus pair and the 2000-2005 Celica GTS. A high-revving four of this kind only needs this much fuel once a supercharger or turbocharger is added, or when it switches to ethanol. The ID1300-XDS was designed for alternative fuels, and its minimum fuel mass stays compatible with gasoline, which matters on a light car that still sees street miles. On a naturally aspirated 2ZZ it would be oversized.

Configuration

Code 30.01 is the Injector Dynamics application for the 2ZZ-GE, followed by the 60mm body length and the 11mm top. Injector Dynamics offers the same 2ZZ-GE fitment in the ID1750-XDS and ID2600-XDS flow classes.

Features

Four injectors coded 30.01 for the 2ZZ-GE
Compatible with all known fuels, with a design aimed at ethanol and methanol
Minimum fuel mass kept compatible with gasoline, for steady idle and cruise on pump fuel
Flow matched as a set of four, with characterization data for the calibration

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels; designed specifically for alternative fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 11mm (blue)

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with blue 11mm tops (x4)

Applications

Lotus Elise and Exige: 2005+ | 2ZZ-GE
Toyota Celica GTS: 2000-2005 | 2ZZ-GE

Notes

USCAR connectors are fitted, so EV1, OBD2 or Denso wiring needs adapters sold separately; for Denso plugs see the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
Plan on a tune, since the ECU needs the Injector Dynamics flow, offset and short pulse data loaded after installation
Also offered as the ID1750-XDS Fuel Injector Set for 2ZZ-GE and ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set for 2ZZ-GE for the same application

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
