Does this set fit both the Lotus and the Celica?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists application code 30.01 for the 2005 and later Lotus Elise and Exige and for the 2000 to 2005 Toyota Celica GT-S, all of which use the 1.8 liter 2ZZ-GE. The 60mm body, 11mm top and Denso lower cushion suit the factory injector bores in each car.

Will the ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set fit a V6 Exige?

No. The ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set is coded for the four cylinder 2ZZ-GE. Later Exige and Evora models use a Toyota V6, which Injector Dynamics does not list for this part number, so check the engine code on your car before ordering.

Is 2600cc too much for a 2ZZ-GE?

Yes, for most builds. The 2ZZ-GE is a 1.8 liter engine, and only a heavily boosted car on E85 or methanol will use this flow. Stock and lightly supercharged cars on gasoline idle and cruise more easily with the ID1300-XDS set for the same engine.

Do I need to retune after fitting?

Yes. The ECU must be told the new flow rate, offset and short pulse behavior. Injector Dynamics publishes the 2600 characterization data, including a 605 microsecond offset at 43.5 psi and 12 volts. Factory Lotus and Toyota ECUs need a reflash or a standalone system to use it.

Are the four injectors matched?

Yes. Injector Dynamics flow matches each set using Dual Slope Matching, which checks injectors in both the linear and the short pulse range. A failed injector under the one year defect warranty is replaced through Injector Dynamics so the set stays balanced, provided correct fuel and filtration were used.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set for 2ZZ-GE Lotus Elise, Exige and Toyota Celica GT-S

For the 1.8L 2ZZ-GE in the Lotus Elise, Exige and Toyota Celica GT-S, this ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set supplies four 2600cc/min injectors on 60mm bodies with 11mm tops and Denso lower cushions. The 2ZZ-GE is a small, high-revving engine, so 2600cc per injector is only sensible on a heavily boosted car that has moved to E85 or methanol. On a stock or mildly supercharged Elise running gasoline, the injector is oversized, and the ID1300-XDS set for the same engine is the more practical choice. Matching in the short pulse range keeps idle fueling even across the four cylinders.

Configuration

The 30.01 is the Injector Dynamics application code for the 2ZZ-GE. The 60 is the 60mm body and the 11 is the 11mm top adapter, with a Denso cushion at the lower end to suit the factory injector bores on both the Lotus and Toyota installations.

Features

ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set matched as four for the 2ZZ-GE
Developed with Bosch Motorsport for liquid fuels, with corrosion-resistant internals
Rated to 9.0 bar differential pressure for high base pressure under boost

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol, all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 11mm adapter
Lower: Denso lower cushion

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors configured for the 2ZZ-GE (x4)

Applications

Lotus Elise and Exige: 2005+ | 1.8L 2ZZ-GE
Toyota Celica GT-S: 2000-2005 | 1.8L 2ZZ-GE

Notes

No connector adapters come with the USCAR plugs; a Denso-plug engine pairs with the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 or OBD2 wiring needs the matching Injector Dynamics adapter
Coded for the 1.8L 2ZZ-GE only; confirm the engine code before ordering
An ECU recalibration is required after fitting, using the Injector Dynamics characterization data
Also offered as the ID1300-XDS Fuel Injector Set and the ID1750-XDS Fuel Injector Set for the same engine

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
