Are the plug and play adapters included with this Miata set?

Yes. This version carries the PU suffix, which means potted USCAR to Denso adapters are in the box, one for each injector. They let the USCAR injectors connect to the Denso plugs on the Miata wiring without cutting or splicing. The ID1300 Miata set is also sold with or without them.

Which Miata years does it fit?

Injector Dynamics lists this set for the 1990 to 2005 Miata, covering the NA and NB generations. The 2006 and later NC Miata uses a different configuration with a bottom adapter, so it needs another part number. Confirm the model year before ordering.

Is the ID1750-XDS Fuel Injector Set too large for a turbo Miata on pump gas?

Yes, for most gasoline builds. The ID1750-XDS Fuel Injector Set flows 1728cc per minute per injector and is aimed at E85 or high boost. A mildly boosted Miata on gasoline is usually better matched to the ID1300-XDS, while the 1750 keeps idle manageable when ethanol is planned.

Will my Miata need a tune?

Yes. A Miata running these injectors needs an engine management calibration built on the Injector Dynamics data for the 1750, covering flow, offset and short pulse values. The tuner enters that data in whatever ECU or standalone the car runs, then checks idle and full boost fueling.

What happens if one injector fails?

Injector Dynamics covers manufacturer defects for one year from purchase, as long as the injectors run the correct fuel with proper filtration. The four are flow matched, so a replacement is supplied through Injector Dynamics, which also cleans, inspects and flow tests injectors in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS Fuel Injector Set for NA and NB Mazda Miata with Plug-and-Play Adapters

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS Fuel Injector Set for the 1990-2005 Mazda Miata includes four 1728cc/min injectors on 60mm bodies with 11mm tops, plus potted USCAR-to-Denso plug-and-play adapters so the factory wiring connects without cutting. That makes it a direct route to a turbocharged or supercharged NA or NB Miata on E85, where the factory injectors would fall well short. For a mildly boosted car on gasoline, the ID1300-XDS version is the smaller and more sensible step.

Configuration

The 11.02 code identifies the Miata application, the 60 is the 60mm body and the 11 is the 11mm top. The -PU suffix means the set includes potted adapters that convert each USCAR plug to the Denso connector on the Miata wiring.

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
