Are inner silencers included with the FX-PRO 60RS Exhaust for NA2 cars?

No. The FX-PRO 60RS Exhaust for NA2 cars ships without inner silencers. They are an optional, separately sold part that lowers the volume, and this NSX system needs two of them. Order the pair with the FX-PRO 60RS Exhaust for NA2 cars if you want a quieter setting from day one.

Will it fit both early and late NA2 cars?

Yes. The NA2 changed its exhaust routing depending on model year, so the manufacturer supplies a set of adapters with the system and you combine the ones that match your car during installation. It is listed for the 1997 to 2005 NA2 with the 3.2L C32B, under both the Acura and Honda badges.

What weight saving does the titanium give over the NSX factory muffler?

The manufacturer states a saving of more than 50 percent compared with the factory muffler, which comes from using 1mm-wall titanium tube for every section. No weight in kilograms or pounds is published for the NA2 version, so the exact saving on your car is not quoted here.

What does it sound like?

The Osaka tuner describes a dry, crisp VTEC sound that is typical of full titanium, and the straight silencer core lets that character come through clearly. No decibel figure is published. If you need it quieter at times, the two optional inner silencers are the way to bring the volume down.

Is the 60RS meant for street or track use?

The 60RS is the version of the FX-PRO line developed for the street. Its 60mm main pipe and straight silencer core are aimed at more torque and power across the whole rev range, which suits an NSX driven regularly on the road with the occasional spirited outing.

Description

J’s Racing FX-PRO 60RS Exhaust for NA2 Acura NSX

J’s Racing’s FX-PRO 60RS Exhaust for NA2 NSX owners is the street version of the Osaka tuner’s redesigned full titanium muffler, built for the 3.2L C32B cars of 1997 to 2005. The model change kept the low back pressure straight-through layout and added a larger, better finished silencer. Every pipe is 1mm-wall titanium, and J’s Racing puts the result at more than 50 percent lighter than the factory muffler. It suits an NSX owner who wants less mass and a sharper VTEC voice; anyone after a hushed cruiser should budget for the optional inner silencers.

Design and Performance

Three-dimensional bending keeps each titanium bend smooth and low in resistance. Pairing a 60mm main pipe with a straight silencer core is what lets J’s Racing claim more torque and power everywhere in the rev range. The dolphin tail is now produced with a cut process for a sharper outline, and its heat coloring is applied by hand.

About J’s Racing

J’s Racing was established in Osaka in 1989, as VTEC engines and lightweight Civics and Integras were changing what a Honda could do, and it has built parts for Hondas ever since. The company develops engine response, suspension, braking, cooling and aerodynamics together as one system, then proves the parts in time attack, gymkhana, endurance and circuit racing. Its Fit lapped Tsukuba Circuit in 1’00.459, and its naturally aspirated AP1 S2000, the Maou car, became the company’s reference build for the Honda roadster. Every J’s Racing part is designed and tested in Japan, and J’s Racing USA in Carson, California handles distribution in the United States.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
