Do I need anything else to fit the FX-PRO 60RS Exhaust for CL7 cars?

Yes. The FX-PRO 60RS Exhaust for CL7 cars needs four Type A reinforced muffler bushes, which are sold separately. The inner silencer is optional and also sold separately; add it if you want to bring the volume down for daily driving or for events with noise limits.

The manufacturer publishes reference figures of 73dB at idle and about 90dB at 4800rpm. The tone is the dry, metallic VTEC sound typical of full titanium. If that is more than you want, the separately sold inner silencer lowers the volume without changing the rest of the system.

How much weight does it save?

On the CL7 the system weighs 5.8kg, compared with 23.3kg for the factory exhaust, so it removes 17.5kg from the back of the car. The manufacturer notes that the weight saving varies from model to model, and these figures are the ones published for the Euro R.

What is the difference between the 60RS and the 70RR?

The 60RS uses a 60mm main pipe tuned for street drivability with gains across the rev range. The 70RR steps up to a 70mm main pipe built for outright power on a dedicated track car. Most street-driven Euro R owners will be happier with the 60RS.

Is this a single or dual exit system?

Single. This version finishes in one cut dolphin-tail titanium tip. If you prefer twin exits, the manufacturer offers a dual version of the 60RS for the CL7, which shares the 60mm main pipe and straight-through design but needs five reinforced bushes instead of four.

Description

J’s Racing FX-PRO 60RS Exhaust for CL7 Honda Accord Euro R

J’s Racing’s FX-PRO 60RS Exhaust for CL7 Accord Euro R owners is the street model of the redesigned full titanium exhaust from Osaka, and the numbers are striking: 5.8kg against 23.3kg for the factory system, a saving of 17.5kg. The straight-through layout J’s Racing developed to strip out back pressure carries over, now with a larger silencer, and every section is 1mm-wall titanium. A 60mm main pipe keeps the K20A tractable on the street while adding torque and power across the rev range. It suits a Euro R that is driven daily and tracked now and then; for a quiet car, budget for the optional inner silencer.

Design and Performance

Each titanium section is formed on a three-dimensional bender, so the bends stay smooth and exhaust resistance stays low. The silencer keeps a straight-through core, and the full titanium build delivers the dry VTEC note J’s Racing exhausts are known for. The dolphin tail is shaped with a cut process for a sharper look, then colored by hand.

Features

1mm-wall titanium throughout
Straight-through silencer, enlarged in the FX-PRO redesign
60mm main pipe sized for street drivability
Smooth three-dimensional bends for low flow resistance

About J’s Racing

J’s Racing was established in Osaka in 1989, as VTEC engines and lightweight Civics and Integras were changing what a Honda could do, and it has built parts for Hondas ever since. The company develops engine response, suspension, braking, cooling and aerodynamics together as one system, then proves the parts in time attack, gymkhana, endurance and circuit racing. Its Fit lapped Tsukuba Circuit in 1’00.459, and its naturally aspirated AP1 S2000, the Maou car, became the company’s reference build for the Honda roadster. Every J’s Racing part is designed and tested in Japan, and J’s Racing USA in Carson, California handles distribution in the United States.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
