J’s Racing Carbon Canards for DC2 Honda Integra Type R
Lightweight CFRP blades on aluminum stays that load the front tires of a winged DC2 and sharpen its turn-in at speed.
J’s Racing’s Carbon Canards for DC2 Integra Type R track cars put downforce where a front-drive chassis needs it most, over the driven and steered wheels. The Osaka tuner, a Honda-only specialist since 1989, pairs CFRP blades with aluminum plate stays so the assembly stays very light yet strong enough for heavy aerodynamic load. J’s Racing says the extra front traction lifts cornering speed sharply and is close to mandatory once a GT wing goes on the back, where it balances the added rear grip. They suit a time-attack or circuit DC2 already running a big wing; on a street car with a stock rear spoiler they are mostly visual.
J’s Racing was established in Osaka in 1989, as VTEC engines and lightweight Civics and Integras were changing what a Honda could do, and it has built parts for Hondas ever since. The company develops engine response, suspension, braking, cooling and aerodynamics together as one system, then proves the parts in time attack, gymkhana, endurance and circuit racing. Its Fit lapped Tsukuba Circuit in 1’00.459, and its naturally aspirated AP1 S2000, the Maou car, became the company’s reference build for the Honda roadster. Every J’s Racing part is designed and tested in Japan, and J’s Racing USA in Carson, California handles distribution in the United States.
