Can these arms add positive camber?

No. The arms adjust in the negative direction only. They are designed to increase negative camber for cornering grip, so they suit a car being set up for sports driving rather than one that needs camber corrected toward positive. Adjustment within that range is stepless.

Will the Front Upper Arms for DC2 cars work on a lowered car?

Yes. The Front Upper Arms for DC2 cars have been revised so they are now compatible with vehicles running a lower ride height, which is where extra negative camber is usually wanted. Pair them with a set of coilovers and a full alignment for best results.

Are both sides included?

Yes. The set contains one right front upper arm and one left front upper arm, enough for the whole front axle. There is no need to order sides separately, and both arms adjust the same way so camber can be matched side to side at alignment.

Do I need an alignment after fitting them?

Yes. Changing the front upper arms changes camber, and adjusting camber also affects toe, so the car should go to an alignment shop once the arms are installed. That is also the time to set the camber value you want for your driving.

How do they change the steering feel?

The arms use reinforced bushings in place of the softer factory items, which the manufacturer says gives more direct handling. Combined with more negative camber, the front tires hold on harder in corners, so steering response feels sharper on a lowered Type R.

Description

J’s Racing Front Upper Arms for DC2 Honda Integra Type R

J’s Racing’s Front Upper Arms for DC2 Integra Type R are the Osaka company’s Front Negative Upper Arms, built so front camber can be adjusted on a car whose factory arms offer no such range. Dialing in more negative camber raises cornering grip and opens up finer setup choices for sports driving, while reinforced bushings give the steering a more direct feel. Adjustment is stepless, so you are not locked to preset increments, and J’s Racing has revised the arms to suit cars running a lower ride height. They make most sense on a lowered Type R used for track days or autocross. Adjustment only goes toward negative, so they will not add positive camber.

About J’s Racing

J’s Racing was established in Osaka in 1989, as VTEC engines and lightweight Civics and Integras were changing what a Honda could do, and it has built parts for Hondas ever since. The company develops engine response, suspension, braking, cooling and aerodynamics together as one system, then proves the parts in time attack, gymkhana, endurance and circuit racing. Its Fit lapped Tsukuba Circuit in 1’00.459, and its naturally aspirated AP1 S2000, the Maou car, became the company’s reference build for the Honda roadster. Every J’s Racing part is designed and tested in Japan, and J’s Racing USA in Carson, California handles distribution in the United States.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
