RYFT’s spring kit for McLaren 720S Coupe and Spider models was developed with Moton Suspension, with rates RYFT set for the P14 car alone. The 720S already rides on McLaren’s Proactive Chassis Control II, so this is not a kit for fixing a weakness. It is for the owner who wants the car sitting lower over its wheels while keeping it usable every week.

Development

McLaren built the 720S around the carbon Monocage II tub and a 4.0 liter M840T twin-turbo V8 making 720 PS. Proactive Chassis Control II reads accelerometers and pressure sensors to adjust damping in real time, and McLaren says the system weighs 16 kg less than its 650S predecessor. RYFT dealers describe springs cold wound from heat-treated high-carbon steel and stress relieved, with billet 7075-T6 hardware.
