Track-built EK9s tend to run low, and low means short suspension travel. When there’s only so much stroke left, the damper has to hold the body up through braking and long corners and still let the wheel absorb a curb. Doing both is difficult with a single adjuster. The Nitron EK9 Type R NTR-R3 coilover kit gives each of those jobs its own adjustment, with independent rebound, low-speed compression and high-speed compression at every corner. Firm up low-speed compression and the car rolls and pitches less, so it isn’t using its travel just to handle weight transfer. Ease off high-speed compression and the wheel can still move quickly over a curb or a sharp bump without crashing into the bump stop. This is how you get a low EK9 to carry speed and keep its momentum, which is the whole point of the car. Hose-mounted reservoirs front and rear keep the compression adjusters easy to reach. The rear follows the OEM suspension layout, so the Nitron EK9 Type R NTR-R3 bolts into the factory double wishbone mounting points at both ends.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
