What is in the V10 Complete Ice Box Kit?

Both versions of the V10 Complete Ice Box Kit include the T1 intercooler pair, a frunk-fitted ice box and the intercooler shelf. The R8 version also includes the T1 R8 Intercooler Line Kit and the T1 R8 Heat Exchanger Kit with its 16AN hose.

What does an ice box do?

It holds the intercooler water in a large tank in the frunk instead of a small reservoir. The tank can be filled with ice and water before a run, so the water reaching the intercoolers starts cold, and a brushless pump circulates it through the system.

Will the kit fit a Huracán Performante?

No. T1 Race Development lists the V10 intercooler pair in the Huracán kit as not fitting the Performante. The Huracán version is meant for the other LB724 models, and Bulletproof Automotive can confirm fitment for a specific car before the order is placed.

What connections do the intercoolers use?

Water passes through billet end tanks with -12AN ORB bungs. The air inlet tank has a 2.5 inch Vanjen receiver and a Tial Q or Turbosmart blow-off valve flange, and the outlet tank has a 3.5 inch Vanjen flange and a 4 bar sensor flange.

Can the intercoolers be powdercoated?

Yes. The price includes powdercoat in any color on the intercooler pair, and T1 has shown kits in paint matched, polished and black wrinkle finishes. Tell Bulletproof Automotive the color when ordering, and T1 Race Development finishes the parts before shipping.

Description

T1 Race Development V10 Complete Ice Box Kit for LB724 Lamborghini Huracán and 4S Audi R8

T1 Race Development’s V10 Complete Ice Box Kit for LB724 Lamborghini Huracán and 4S Audi R8 gathers the parts T1 uses to cool charge air with iced water on a turbocharged V10: water-to-air intercoolers, a frunk water box and the intercooler shelf. The R8 version adds the T1 line kit and front-mount heat exchanger kit, so the whole water circuit arrives together.

Choosing a Version

The R8 kit holds the intercooler pair, the T1 R8 Ice Box Kit, the R8 Intercooler Line Kit, the intercooler shelf and the R8 Heat Exchanger Kit with a 16AN hose to the front bulkhead. The Huracán kit holds the intercooler pair, the T1 Huracán Ice Box Kit and the shelf, only.

Design and Performance

Each intercooler uses a Garrett core that T1 lists at 1,000 hp, with billet water end tanks, a billet air inlet tank with a 2.5 inch Vanjen receiver and blow-off valve flange, and a billet outlet tank with a 3.5 inch Vanjen flange. The ice box is a wrinkle black water box with an 8 inch billet lid engraved with the T1 logo, a brushless water pump and a 10AN drain with an internal tank valve.

Pair of T1 water-to-air intercoolers with Garrett cores
Frunk-fitted ice box with an engraved 8 inch billet lid
Brushless water pump and 10AN drain with internal valve

About T1 Race Development

T1 Race Development was founded in Texas in 2005 by Tony Palo, whose 2000 Acura Integra GSR became the first eight-second front-wheel-drive street car before the shop turned its attention to the Nissan GT-R. T1 went on to become the first to exceed 230 mph in the half mile in a GT-R and the first to make 2,400 whp from the VR38DETT, and it now develops engines, drivetrain parts and complete builds for the R35 GT-R, Lamborghini Huracan and Audi R8.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
