Which ECUs work with the Secondary Injection Harness?

T1 Race Development designed the GT1R Secondary Injection Harness for any ECU used when converting an R35 Nissan GT-R from six injectors to 12 or 18, and it names MoTeC, Syvecs and Pro EFI as examples. The harness drives the secondary injectors in the upper intake manifold from the ECU outputs set aside for them.

What is the difference between the connector options?

The connector option matches the plug on the secondary injectors. T1 Race Development lists Denso connectors for the ID2000 and USCAR connectors for the ID1050x, ID1300x, ID1700x and ID2600x. Choose the type that matches the injectors going into the manifold, since the two plugs are not interchangeable.

Why is the harness split into three sections?

Each section makes service easier. The ECU section unplugs at a DTM connector for ECU work, the firewall extension uses pre-terminated pins that slide into the connector housing under the dash, and the injector section joins under the wiper cowl. That last joint lets the intake manifold come off without removing the secondary wiring.

How is the harness constructed?

Race Spec builds it from M22759/32-20 Tefzel wire, a mil-spec wire with high temperature and chemical resistance, under Raychem DR25 heat shrink. Each injector lead is labeled with its cylinder number, which matters on the VR38DETT because bank 1 and bank 2 are easy to swap by mistake.

Does the 18-injector version cost more?

Yes. The 12-injector version is the base option, and the 18-injector version adds 450 dollars for the extra wiring to a third set of six injectors. Both use the same Race Spec construction, the same three-section layout and the same choice of Denso or USCAR injector connectors.

Description

T1 Race Development GT1R Secondary Injection Harness for R35 Nissan GT-R

T1 Race Development’s GT1R Secondary Injection Harness for R35 Nissan GT-R wires the second bank of injectors in an upper intake manifold when a car moves from six injectors to 12 or 18. It works with any standalone ECU used for the conversion, including MoTeC, Syvecs and Pro EFI, and it is built by Race Spec from M22759/32-20 Tefzel wire under Raychem DR25 heat shrink.

Design and Performance

The harness comes in three sections. The first terminates at the ECU in a DTM connector, so it can be unplugged when the ECU is serviced. The second passes through a small hole drilled in the firewall, with the DTM connector assembled under the dash from pre-terminated pins. The third runs to the injectors beneath the runners, joining the extension under the wiper cowl, so the intake manifold can come off without disturbing the secondary wiring. Every injector lead carries its cylinder number.

Features

Built by Race Spec with M22759/32-20 mil-spec Tefzel wire
Raychem DR25 heat shrink throughout
Three sections joined by DTM connectors for service access
Injector leads labeled by cylinder number
Routed under the runners so the manifold comes off with the wiring in place

What’s Included

Section 1: ECU harness terminated in a DTM connector
Section 2: firewall extension with pre-terminated pins and DTM housing
Section 3: injector harness with cylinder-labeled leads

Applications

Nissan GT-R: R35 | 2009-2024 | 3.8L VR38DETT V6

Notes

Choose 12 or 18 injectors and the injector connector type when ordering; Denso suits the ID2000, and USCAR suits the ID1050x, ID1300x, ID1700x and ID2600x
Installing the Secondary Injection Harness requires drilling a small hole in the firewall
Injectors, the intake manifold and the ECU are not included; T1 pairs the harness with its 12-injector fuel systems, such as the T1 Race Development GT1R Full Length 12-Injector Fuel System (T1 02.01.03-1)

About T1 Race Development

T1 Race Development was founded in Texas in 2005 by Tony Palo, whose 2000 Acura Integra GSR became the first eight-second front-wheel-drive street car before the shop turned its attention to the Nissan GT-R. T1 went on to become the first to exceed 230 mph in the half mile in a GT-R and the first to make 2,400 whp from the VR38DETT, and it now develops engines, drivetrain parts and complete builds for the R35 GT-R, Lamborghini Huracan and Audi R8.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
