Which ALPINA B3 do the Supersprint Connecting Pipes for G20 LCI fit?

Supersprint registers the Connecting Pipes for G20 LCI for the ALPINA B3 sedan and B3 Touring from 2023, with the particulate filter. The earlier B3 built from 2020 to 2022 uses the Connecting Pipes 528244 instead, so check the build year before ordering.

What else do I need with them?

Supersprint sells them in a full kit. In the Twin Pipe system they sit between a front section, 528542, 528552 or 528562, and the Center Pipes Kit 527013, with the Valved Rear Mufflers 527004 at the back. Bulletproof Automotive supplies each part on its own.

Which front section should I choose?

Supersprint lists three fronts for this system. The Resonated Front Exhaust 528542 is the most refined, the Non-Resonated Front Exhaust 528552 is louder and lighter, and the Front Pipes with Sport Cats 528562 carry metallic Sport Cats. All three work with these connecting pipes.

Is the ALPINA B3 sold in the USA?

The G20 and G21 B3 were not sold new in the USA. Supersprint registers these pipes for European B3 models with the particulate filter, and Bulletproof Automotive lists them for imported and overseas cars. Send your VIN before ordering so we can confirm the fit.

How long is the lead time?

Supersprint lists them as availability on demand, which means they are built to order in Mantova. Bulletproof Automotive lists them on backorder with notification, and you are told when the build is booked in Mantova and again when they ship to you.

Description

Supersprint Connecting Pipes for G20 LCI ALPINA B3 and G21 LCI B3 Touring [528544]

Supersprint’s Connecting Pipes for G20 LCI ALPINA B3 are written for the later car, the B3 that Supersprint registers from 2023 with the uprated S58, and they appear in both of Mantova’s systems for it: the Twin Pipe system and the J-Pipe system with its 100mm mandrel-bent section. The right and left pipes are the link that lets those systems be built from a small number of sections. For an owner of one of these rare cars, the choice of front is the interesting decision; this part simply has to be the right one, which is why it is registered so precisely.

About Supersprint

Supersprint has built exhaust systems in Mantova, Italy since 1955, designing and manufacturing in house rather than assembling bought-in parts. Piping is AISI 304 stainless at a nominal 1.5mm wall, mandrel bent and TIG or MIG welded to CNC machined stainless flanges 7mm to 12mm thick; AISI 310S and Inconel come out where thermal load is highest, and catalyst hardware comes from HJS. Every application is developed against a baseline measured on the AWD MAHA dynamometer in Mantova, which is why the catalogue is model specific rather than universal.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
