What else do I need with the Supersprint Sport Cats for G20 LCI ALPINA B3?

The Sport Cats for G20 LCI ALPINA B3 are the front of the Supersprint Twin Pipe system. Supersprint sells them in a full kit with the Connecting Pipes 528544, the Center Pipes Kit 527013 and the Valved Rear Mufflers 527004, and Bulletproof Automotive supplies each part separately.

Why cost so much more than the other fronts?

The two other fronts for this position are plain stainless, with or without resonators. This pair carries Supersprint metallic Sport Cats, which account for most of the difference. Supersprint lists the resonated and non-resonated fronts, 528542 and 528552, as the alternatives.

Does it fit the earlier B3?

No. Supersprint registers these front pipes only for the ALPINA B3 sedan and Touring from 2023, with the particulate filter. The B3 built from 2020 to 2022 uses different Supersprint systems, so check the build year of the car before ordering.

Are they sold as a pair?

Yes. Supersprint lists them as front pipes right and left with the Sport Cats fitted, and the product photograph shows both sides. They are T304 stainless steel, built and welded in Mantova like the rest of the Twin Pipe system.

How long is the lead time?

Supersprint lists the part as availability on demand, so it is built to order in Mantova and the date is confirmed when the order is placed. Bulletproof Automotive lists it on backorder with notification and keeps you informed until it ships.

Description

Supersprint Front Pipes with Sport Cats for G20 LCI ALPINA B3 and G21 LCI B3 Touring [528562]

Supersprint’s Front Pipes with Sport Cats for G20 LCI ALPINA B3 are the most complete front section Mantova builds for the later B3: a right and left pair carrying metallic Sport Cats, at the head of the Twin Pipe system. They are also the most costly part in the B3 range by a wide margin, and they make sense for the owner who wants the full Supersprint line and Sport Cats rather than straight pipe at the front. Supersprint registers them for the B3 sedan and B3 Touring from 2023, and lists the resonated and non-resonated fronts as the alternatives in the same position.

About Supersprint

Supersprint has built exhaust systems in Mantova, Italy since 1955, designing and manufacturing in house rather than assembling bought-in parts. Piping is AISI 304 stainless at a nominal 1.5mm wall, mandrel bent and TIG or MIG welded to CNC machined stainless flanges 7mm to 12mm thick; AISI 310S and Inconel come out where thermal load is highest, and catalyst hardware comes from HJS. Every application is developed against a baseline measured on the AWD MAHA dynamometer in Mantova, which is why the catalogue is model specific rather than universal.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
