Supersprint’s Dual Sound Rear Mufflers for F87 BMW M2 Competition and M2 CS are a left and right pair of valved rear mufflers for the S55 six, each with a flap, sold as a kit through IND Distribution, the US distributor for Supersprint. Supersprint registers them for the 2018 to 2021 M2 Competition, USA models included, and the 2020 M2 CS, on cars with the exhaust valve, and keeps both mufflers in stock. The valves give a quieter setting and a loud one, which is the right choice for an M2 that is driven on the street as much as on track.

Supersprint has built exhaust systems in Mantova, Italy since 1955, designing and manufacturing in house rather than assembling bought-in parts. Piping is AISI 304 stainless at a nominal 1.5mm wall, mandrel bent and TIG or MIG welded to CNC machined stainless flanges 7mm to 12mm thick; AISI 310S and Inconel come out where thermal load is highest, and catalyst hardware comes from HJS.
