Specialized Bi-Axis Hose Fittings

Nitron machines every R3 Hose shock around its own 720-degree Bi-Axis fitting rather than reaching for an off-the-shelf spherical rod end, and that fitting is used across the entire R3 Hose line, not swapped out car to car. A fixed conventional fitting binds up right at the limit of steering or suspension travel, which is exactly where a lowered R33 running stiffer springs starts putting real load through the hose routing in an already tight engine bay. Because the Bi-Axis fitting rotates freely at both ends of the connection, the hose is free to find its own path through compression and rebound instead of twisting against a fitting that was never designed to move with it.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
