Moshammer Ducktail Evo II answers the objection that has always followed a fixed spoiler on a turbocharged 991.2: cooling. Where a conventional fixed rear spoiler starves the intercoolers of air, Moshammer carried over the Ram Air architecture proven across more than four years on the 992 platform and adapted it to the 3.0 turbo cars, routing air through integrated channels straight into the engine bay. The result is stable charge air cooling under sustained load, with intake performance quoted above the levels known from the 992 Turbo S, and TUV testing that confirms aerodynamic balance beyond 300 kmh. Ram Air Technology

Integrated air channels run through the body of the spoiler and deliver airflow directly into the engine bay and across the intercoolers. Moshammer developed the principle on the 992 and this is its first application to the 991.2, where the 3.0 turbo engines are far more sensitive to charge air temperature than the naturally aspirated cars that wore ducktails before them. Intake performance is quoted above the levels known from the 992 Turbo S, so the shape does measurable thermal work rather than simply borrowing a famous outline.

High Speed Composure

Because the profile is fixed rather than adjustable, the aerodynamic balance it creates is the same every time you reach speed. Moshammer had the design TUV tested for velocities above 300 kmh, which is a meaningful threshold for an owner who uses derestricted roads or track days rather than boulevards. Where conventional fixed spoilers hit thermal limits under full load, this one holds cooling steady.

Installation and Reversibility

Mounting happens at the original factory points, so nothing is drilled, cut or permanently altered on the rear deck. The no brake light layout keeps the factory third brake light in the grille fully visible and functional, which avoids the frame and wiring compromises that other fixed spoilers require. If the car ever needs to go back to standard, the ducktail comes off and the original silhouette returns.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
