Fabricated in-house in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania from mandrel-bent T304L stainless with port-matched flanges and smooth-radius primaries, they flow harder, run cooler and weigh roughly seven pounds less than the factory manifolds, sharpening throttle response and giving the flat-six a stronger voice. Development and Testing

SOUL built these headers specifically for the 987.2, sizing the 2 inch runners and collectors around the direct-injection 3.4-liter S while making sure the 2.9-liter cars gained as well. The company tested the design on its own project Cayman S with PDK on a Dynojet, run with the SOUL Valved Exhaust System, and recorded peak gains of 9 wheel horsepower and 10 pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm. Those figures come with the valved system in place, so the gain on a given car depends on the rest of its exhaust and tune, but the direction is consistent: more power, a cleaner pull through the midrange and a stronger note.

Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
