3D Scanning

• Upon completing the model and concept, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and performs 3D scanning to create an exact digital replica. Using a specialized scanner, the car’s exterior shape and dimensions are meticulously captured. This precise digital model forms the foundation of the design process, ensuring the incorporation of advanced mechanisms and bolt-on fitment. Each car typically requires over 40 hours for this critical scanning stage.

Digital Design & Testing

• With the scanned model in hand, ZACOE Performance designers begin brainstorming and sketching initial concepts by hand. These sketches are then digitized into computer-aided design (CAD) software, where bold ideas take shape in the virtual realm. Once the draft design is complete, basic aerodynamic testing is conducted using advanced software tools. Cutting-edge technology enables ZACOE Performance to achieve remarkable sophistication, quality, and innovation.

Prototyping

• After finalizing the digital design, ZACOE Performance moves on to creating a physical prototype of the kit using ABS. Specialized equipment like 3D printers and CNC machines is employed to manufacture each component with precision. The prototype is then assembled and tested on the car to verify fitment and performance expectations.

Mold-making

• Following successful testing and adjustments, ZACOE Performance enters the mold-making phase for the carbon fiber kit. Using the prototype as a guide, molds for each component are crafted through a combination of skilled manual labor and specialized machinery. This meticulous process results in a sleek, lightweight carbon fiber kit that elevates the car’s performance and aesthetics.
