3D Scanning

• Upon completing the model and concept, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and performs 3D scanning to produce an accurate digital model. This process uses a specialized scanner to capture the precise shape and dimensions of the car’s exterior. The digital model becomes the foundation for the design process, ensuring the high level of precision needed for sophisticated inner mechanisms and bolt-on fitment. Each car typically requires over 40 hours to complete the scanning process.

Digital Design & Testing

• With the digitally scanned model in hand, ZACOE Performance designers gather for brainstorming sessions and start developing concepts with hand-drawn sketches. These sketches are then converted into computer-aided design (CAD) software, where designers bring their boldest ideas to life in the digital space. Once the draft design is complete, basic aerodynamic testing is conducted using advanced software tools, showcasing ZACOE Performance’s commitment to innovation, quality, and creative excellence.

Prototyping

• After the digital design is finalized and tested, ZACOE Performance moves on to crafting a physical prototype of the kit using ABS material. This step involves specialized equipment such as 3D printers or CNC machines to create each component of the kit. The prototype is assembled and tested on the vehicle to ensure precise fitment and optimal performance.

Mold-making

• Following successful prototype testing and adjustments, ZACOE Performance transitions to creating molds for the carbon fiber kit. Using the prototype as a guide, molds are crafted for each component to enable production of the final product. This meticulous process blends skilled manual labor with advanced machinery, requiring exceptional precision and craftsmanship. The result is a sleek, lightweight carbon fiber kit designed to enhance the car’s performance and aesthetics.
