AutoTecknic has launched a new dry carbon fiber rear diffuser for the G8X M3 / M4. This product is designed for direct mounting onto the lower factory mounting location, enabling a quick and straightforward installation. Crafted from 100% genuine 3K Twill-Weave (2×2) Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber and refined through AutoTecknic’s signature autoclave technology, this diffuser is coated with multiple layers of high-gloss UV-resistant clear coat. Emphasizing motorsport’s weight-saving principles, the autoclave vacuum forming process is employed to deliver a diffuser with superior strength and perfect fitment. Dry carbon, known as the highest quality type of carbon fiber, is used for this product. It is manufactured using a “pre-preg” or impregnated piece of carbon materials, which is placed into a mold and then cured in a sealed vacuum (autoclave). This process not only minimizes waste but also results in a lighter form of carbon compared to the “wet” method. The autoclave vacuuming process ensures the carbon fiber has fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets, enhancing the overall quality and durability of the diffuser.
