Fabspeed identified common issues with OEM mufflers, particularly titanium ones on GT3 RS vehicles, prone to cracking and breaking. Drawing from their 25+ years of air and water-cooled experience, they addressed these concerns while enhancing the original design. By increasing the valve-open tubing to an optimal 2.75 inches (70mm), they achieved low restriction and maintained high velocity for the GT3 engine, resulting in the iconic GT3 CUP car sound. The incorporation of the signature investment cast x-pipe optimized exhaust scavenging without impeding exhaust flow. To preserve the factory muffler’s sound profile and drone-free characteristics, they replicated Porsche’s 7-chamber design. This guarantees a muffler that never breaks or fails, making it a reliable choice.

Sound

• This muffler offers a tone closely resembling the OEM counterpart, with a slightly amplified sound when PSE is activated. Additionally, its distinctive x-pipe design contributes to a smoother and more high-pitched audio profile.

Power

• In conjunction with our Side Muffler Bypass Pipes on a 991.1 GT3RS test car, the Rennsport Muffler demonstrated remarkable performance gains. It achieved a substantial increase of 27ft/lbs of torque at low rpms, specifically at 3,200rpm. In the broader range from 2,900 to 5,700 rpm, it consistently delivered an additional 10whp or more. Peak whp also saw an improvement, rising from 446 to 454, representing an 8whpor 9hp gain at the crank.
