The iconic Capristo Valved Exhaust System is renowned for its ability to deliver the best of both worlds. It is capable of producing an aggressive and powerful exhaust note during acceleration, while also offering a more subdued and refined sound for city driving.

Valve Control

• This unique feature of the Capristo Valved Exhaust System is made possible through the use of vacuum-actuated valve flaps. These flaps are designed to open and close depending on the driving conditions and input from the driver. When the engine is operating at lower speeds or during cruise operation, the valves remain closed, resulting in a deeper exhaust note. However, when the driver accelerates aggressively, the valves open, allowing the engine to unleash its full symphony of sound.

CES-3 Control Module

• The backpressure-controlled exhaust valves are able to be customized by the user via the included CES-3 Control Module. This programmable control unit comes with three operating modes that can be navigated through a remote key fob.
  • Cruise: Exhaust valves open at higher RPMs
  • Sport: Exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and hard acceleration
  • Open: Exhaust valves remain open
• The vehicle’s Cruise and Sport modes can be independently configured to establish specific backpressure limits, which subsequently determine the activation times of the exhaust valves. This provides exact control over the exhaust system, enabling modifications to accommodate the driver’s distinct preferences and resilience.

• The Capristo Exhaust systems are meticulously engineered and manufactured using cutting-edge techniques such as 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling at the company’s factory in Germany. Each system is crafted from high-grade T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel and carefully hand polished to achieve a stunning mirror finish. Extensive research has led to the selection of this specific alloy, its exceptional sonic resonance properties, lightweight composition, and durability. These attributes closely resemble the properties of Inconel, a renowned material used in the world of Formula 1.
