Does the Eventuri 8Y S3 intake fit my car?

Yes. The Eventuri 8Y S3 intake fits the Audi 8Y S3 from 2020 onward and the Audi 8S TTS from 2022 onward. It is engineered around these chassis and their factory intake layout. Confirm your model and year match before ordering, and note it is not designed for other Audi platforms.

Do I need a tune to run this intake?

No. The Eventuri intake is a direct bolt-on that works with the factory calibration and does not require a tune to install. It supports stock, hybrid, and full-frame turbocharger setups, so it scales with your build. A tune is optional and only relevant if you are chasing additional power elsewhere.

How much larger is the intake tube than stock?

The system replaces the 73mm factory inlet tube with a 94mm diameter tube. That larger cross-section lets the turbocharger operate with reduced restriction and improved efficiency across all power levels, which is a core reason the intake outflows the factory airbox so significantly.

How does it keep intake temperatures low?

The carbon duct fully seals against the front slam panel and adds a secondary air feed behind the hood line, providing airflow area equivalent to an extra 7-inch inlet. This pulls cooler air from outside the engine bay rather than drawing heat from around the engine, keeping intake temperatures stable.

What replacement filter does it use?

The Eventuri 8Y S3 intake uses the Type D2 filter, part number EVE-W192-FTR, and one filter services the system. It is a bespoke 192mm outer diameter dry cone with over 110,000mm2 of filtration surface area. Keep a spare on hand for scheduled cleaning or replacement intervals.

Where is the intake made?

The Eventuri carbon intake system is designed and hand-assembled in the UK. It uses a patented Venturi carbon fiber housing, CNC-machined breather adapter, and laser-cut stainless steel mounting brackets, reflecting Eventuri's focus on material quality and measured airflow performance.

Description

Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System for 8Y Audi S3 and 8S TTS

The Eventuri 8Y S3 intake is a complete redesign of the factory intake path for the Audi 8Y S3 and 8S TTS, built to move maximum air while holding intake temperatures low. Developed on the architecture of Eventuri’s RS3 system, it swaps the restrictive stock inlet tract for a high-volume carbon fiber Venturi housing, an enlarged 94mm intake tube, and a full-width sealed duct that feeds the turbocharger through a smooth, efficient path. The factory 73mm tube gives way to a 94mm diameter tube so the turbo runs with less restriction across every power level, from stock calibrations to hybrid and full-frame turbo builds, and the sealed carbon duct adds a secondary air feed behind the hood line for a large jump in cold-air volume.

Features

Patented carbon fiber Venturi filter housing that maintains laminar airflow and a stable velocity profile
Enlarged 94mm intake tube in place of the restrictive 73mm factory tube
Full-width sealed carbon fiber inlet duct that seals against the front slam panel
Secondary air feed behind the hood line, equivalent to an extra 7-inch diameter inlet, without drawing engine-bay heat
Bespoke high-flow dry cone filter for large filtration surface area
CNC-machined breather adapter and laser-cut stainless steel mounting brackets
Suited to stock, hybrid, and full-frame turbocharger applications
Significantly higher flow rate than the factory airbox, with improved throttle response and turbo efficiency

About Eventuri

Eventuri was founded by a team of engineers and enthusiasts with backgrounds in aeronautics and tuning, all sharing a passion for cars and performance. After owning various aftermarket intakes over the years and being disappointed with gains that seldom lived up to their claims, they decided to take things into their own hands and set a new benchmark in intake design and technology. The goal was to engineer systems that provide real, measurable gains and to publish genuine figures to back them up. Their systems are developed using cutting-edge design, testing, and prototyping methods. Each design undergoes CFD analysis and is validated at the prototype stage through volumetric airflow measurement, intake temperature testing, and extensive dynamometer testing. Eventuri publishes all development data to illustrate the full process from concept to finished product. Only the best materials are selected for every component, down to the choice of fasteners, to ensure the quality of the final product is second to none.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
