About Bedding

• It is essential to carry out the appropriate “bedding–in“ procedure before using semi–metallic brake pads to guarantee optimal performance at high temperatures and increase the lifespan of the pads and rotors.
• How to Bed:
  • Prior to inserting a new component into a circuit, preheat the rotor to a range between 400–500° C, avoiding any abrupt deceleration. Following that, the part can be inserted and let the rotor cool off to 100° C or below, finishing the procedure.
