Öhlins DFV Road & Track Coilovers for 993 Porsche 911

Öhlins’ DFV Road & Track Coilovers for 993 Porsche 911 models replace the dampers and springs with Öhlins kit POR GP01S1, which Öhlins lists for every all-wheel-drive 993 and for rear-wheel-drive cars from the 1996 model year on. Each damper has one adjuster for compression and rebound, every corner has its own spring preload and ride height adjustment, and aluminum top mounts come in the kit, with adjustable camber at the front. Rear-wheel-drive cars also need a pair of original Porsche anti-roll bar links, which are not included.

Design and Performance

The Dual Flow Valve lets one adjuster per damper change compression and rebound together. The front uses upside-down McPherson struts and the rear uses conventional shock absorbers, each with a spring preload adjuster and a separate ride height adjustment. Öhlins aluminum top mounts replace the factory mounts, adjustable for camber at the front and fixed at the rear, and the springs are 60 N/mm front and 110 N/mm rear.
