Do these Öhlins Road & Track coilovers fit the BMW Z4 (G29)?

Yes. The Öhlins Road & Track coilover kit is designed specifically for the BMW Z4 (G29) from 2018 onward. Both front and rear components are compatible with the original top mounts, so no additional adapters or brackets are needed for proper fitment.

How does the DFV adjustment work on the BMW Z4 (G29) kit?

The Öhlins DFV (Dual Flow Valve) system uses a single gold knob to switch between road and race damping. Turning the knob clockwise adjusts all four damping areas at once: low-speed compression, high-speed compression, low-speed rebound, and high-speed rebound. No tools are required, and the adjustment takes only seconds at the track entrance.

How much can I lower my BMW Z4 (G29) with this kit?

The Öhlins Road & Track coilover kit for the BMW Z4 (G29) offers 0 to 25 mm of lowering adjustment at both the front and rear. Each corner uses a separate damper length adjuster and spring preload adjuster for independent corner height setup.

Are the Öhlins dampers on the BMW Z4 (G29) kit rebuildable?

Yes. The Öhlins Road & Track dampers for the BMW Z4 (G29) are fully rebuildable. They can be serviced, revalved, and custom-tuned over time rather than replaced outright, which extends the usable life of the kit as your driving needs evolve.

What warranty and certifications does this kit include?

The Öhlins Road & Track coilover kit for the BMW Z4 (G29) comes with a 2-year warranty and has been corrosion salt spray tested to ISO 9227 standards.

Description

Öhlins DFV Road & Track Coilovers for G29 BMW Z4

The Öhlins Road & Track coilover kit for the BMW Z4 (G29) brings genuine racing capability to your car without costing you the comfort you need every other day of the week. This kit suits drivers who want both; it is as popular with manufacturers building dedicated track day machines as it is with aftermarket buyers pushing chassis performance beyond the factory setup. Available as a full suspension kit or as individual shock absorbers and struts, depending on your application.

DFV Technology Explained

Öhlins’ Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology is what separates this kit from a conventional coilover. A single gold knob handles the transition between modes. Turn it clockwise at the track entrance and you change all four damping areas at once: low-speed compression, high-speed compression, low-speed rebound, and high-speed rebound. Head home and dial it back to road mode for a more relaxed, comfortable ride that still delivers more grip and quicker response than the factory setup ever could.

What It Does on Track and on the Road

On track, the Öhlins Road & Track coilovers for the BMW Z4 (G29) produce noticeably faster response times, better bump absorption, and a significant increase in traction at the limit. The internal DFV components respond quickly to both minor surface imperfections and larger impacts, keeping the car planted and the tires working. The result is a car that is easier to balance at the edge of grip, more agile through corners, and more predictable when you are pushing hard. On the road, that same hardware delivers a refined, controlled ride that puts the factory suspension to shame.

Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
