The Ferrari SF90, introduced in 2019, was initially compared to a budget LaFerrari due to its hybrid powertrain, but it is far from a replacement. Commemorating the 90th anniversary of Scuderia Ferrari, the SF90 marks Ferrari’s bold entry into hybrid vehicle production—a significant evolution in its legacy. Embracing this innovation, ZACOE Performance crafted a bespoke carbon fiber kit for the SF90 that exudes simplicity while delivering unparalleled sophistication. The kit includes a front lip, side skirts, and rear side flaps, all meticulously handcrafted from lightweight dry carbon fiber to achieve optimal weight savings and aesthetics. While the design appears understated, each component features advanced aero-mechanics and has undergone rigorous testing to ensure peak functionality and minimal weight. With this creation, ZACOE Performance adds another milestone to its Ferrari lineup, ensuring no SF90 remains ordinary.

3D Scanning

Once the model and concept are finalized, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and performs 3D scanning to create an accurate digital representation. Using a specialized scanner, the car’s exterior shape and dimensions are precisely captured, forming the basis of the design process. ZACOE Performance’s commitment to incorporating sophisticated mechanisms and seamless bolt-on fitment makes precision at this stage critical. The scanning process for each car typically takes over 40 hours.

Digital Design & Testing

With the digital model in hand, ZACOE Performance’s design team begins by brainstorming ideas and sketching initial concepts by hand. These sketches are then converted into computer-aided design (CAD) software, where bold and innovative ideas take shape digitally. Once the draft design is ready, basic aerodynamic testing is performed using advanced software tools. Cutting-edge technology enables ZACOE Performance to deliver unmatched quality, sophistication, and originality.

Prototyping

Following digital design and testing, ZACOE Performance creates a physical prototype of the kit using ABS. Specialized equipment, such as 3D printers and CNC machines, is used to fabricate each component. The prototype is assembled and tested on the vehicle to ensure accurate fitment and performance.

Mold-making

After prototype testing and adjustments, ZACOE Performance proceeds to the mold-making stage for the carbon fiber kit. The prototype is used to craft molds for each component, which are then utilized in producing the final product. This process, which blends skilled manual work with precision machinery, results in a lightweight and sleek carbon fiber kit designed to elevate both the vehicle’s performance and aesthetics.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario.
