3D Scanning

• After finalizing the model and concept, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and performs a 3D scanning process to produce an exceptionally accurate digital model. This step involves using a specialized scanner to capture the precise shape and dimensions of the car’s exterior, laying the groundwork for the design process. Precision is crucial as ZACOE integrates advanced inner mechanisms and bolt-on fitment, with the scanning phase typically taking over 40 hours per vehicle.

Digital Design & Testing

• Once the digital model is ready, ZACOE Performance designers conduct brainstorming sessions and create initial concepts through hand-drawn sketches. These sketches are then transformed into computer-aided design (CAD) software, where the team refines their boldest ideas. Basic aerodynamic testing is conducted using sophisticated software tools, ensuring the designs meet ZACOE’s standards of innovation, quality, and sophistication.

Prototyping

• With the design and testing complete, ZACOE Performance produces a physical prototype of the kit using ABS material. Components are manufactured using advanced equipment such as 3D printers and CNC machines. The prototype is assembled and tested on the car to ensure precise fitment and optimal performance.

Mold-making

• After rigorous testing and adjustments, ZACOE Performance creates molds for the carbon fiber kit. These molds, crafted from the prototype, combine expert manual craftsmanship with specialized machinery to ensure precision. The final result is a sleek, lightweight carbon fiber kit that enhances both the performance and visual appeal of the car.
