3D Scanning

• Once the model and concept are finalized, ZACOE Performance obtains an OEM car and performs a 3D scanning process to produce the most precise digital model. Using advanced scanning technology, the car’s exact exterior shape and dimensions are captured, laying the groundwork for the design phase. This step is critical as ZACOE Performance integrates intricate inner mechanisms and bolt-on fitment, requiring over 40 hours of scanning per vehicle.

Digital Design & Testing

• After completing the digital model, ZACOE Performance designers collaborate in brainstorming sessions to create initial concepts through hand-drawn sketches. These ideas are then translated into computer-aided design (CAD) software, where designers refine their most ambitious concepts. Basic aerodynamic testing is conducted using cutting-edge software, ensuring the final design meets ZACOE’s standards of sophistication, quality, and innovation.

Prototyping

• With the design and testing phase complete, ZACOE Performance produces a physical prototype of the kit using ABS material. High-precision equipment, including 3D printers and CNC machines, is utilized to fabricate each component. The prototype is assembled and fitted to the vehicle to confirm its performance and fitment.

Mold-making

• Once the prototype is validated and adjusted as needed, ZACOE Performance proceeds to create molds for the carbon fiber kit. The prototype is used as a template to craft molds for each component, combining expert manual craftsmanship with advanced machinery. This meticulous process results in a lightweight, sleek carbon fiber kit that elevates both the vehicle’s performance and aesthetic appeal.
