3D Scanning

• Once the model and concept are finalized, ZACOE Performance sources an OEM car and performs a precise 3D scanning process. Utilizing specialized scanners, the exact shape and dimensions of the car’s exterior are captured to create a highly accurate digital model. This foundational step, requiring over 40 hours per car, is crucial for integrating advanced inner mechanisms and bolt-on fitment with absolute precision.

Digital Design & Testing

• After completing the 3D model, ZACOE Performance designers collaborate in brainstorming sessions, sketching initial concepts by hand. These sketches are then refined using computer-aided design (CAD) software, where the team transforms bold ideas into detailed digital designs. Basic aerodynamic testing follows, employing advanced software to ensure the design achieves the highest standards of innovation, quality, and performance.

Prototyping

• With the digital design finalized and tested, ZACOE Performance fabricates a physical prototype of the kit using ABS material. Specialized tools, such as 3D printers and CNC machines, are used to produce each component. The prototype is then assembled and tested on the car to confirm proper fitment and optimal performance.

Mold-making

• Following successful prototype testing and adjustments, ZACOE Performance produces molds for the carbon fiber kit. Using the prototype as a reference, these molds are meticulously crafted with a blend of manual expertise and specialized machinery. The result is a lightweight, sleek carbon fiber kit that enhances both the vehicle’s aesthetics and performance.
