Emphasizing VF Engineering’s commitment to enhancing daily drivability without sacrificing reliability, this system elevates the 997.2 with a significant boost in performance. Central to the system is the Vortech V3 Supercharger, renowned for its ability to deliver consistent power up to the redline and contribute an additional 125 crank horsepower. The kit includes a precision-engineered billet supercharger mounting bracket, created using CAD software and CNC-manufactured from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring seamless integration using OEM bolt patterns without the need for modifications or relocation of existing engine components. Additionally, the V3 SCi-Trim supercharger unit, chosen in close consultation with Vortech engineers, features helical-cut gears for quiet operation, making it almost silent when the engine compartment is closed. Despite its capacity for a maximum of 20 psi and 1000 cfm, the supercharger is set to a conservative 6 psi to maximize durability and reliability.
