Does the Headlight Level Bracket Kit for ZN6 include the control arms?

No. The Headlight Level Bracket Kit for ZN6 contains two aluminum brackets and a hardware kit. It attaches the factory automatic headlight level sensor to the Verus Engineering 7000 Series Rear Lower Control Arm Kit, which is sold separately and should be ordered with it on any car fitted with the sensor.

How do I know if my car has automatic headlight leveling?

Check the factory rear lower control arms before removing them. Verus Engineering explains that late-model and European-market GT86, BRZ and FR-S cars can come with an auto headlight level sensor mounted on the rear lower control arm. If the sensor is attached there, order this bracket kit with the Verus arms; if not, the arms install on their own.

Which cars is the bracket made for?

Verus Engineering made it for first-generation Toyota 86, European GT86, Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ cars with factory automatic headlight leveling. The product title also lists the WRX without describing it, so WRX owners should confirm fitment with Bulletproof Automotive first. Verus does not name the 2022 and later GR86 or BRZ.

What is the bracket made from?

Each bracket is laser cut from 5052 aluminum, powder coated for corrosion resistance and laser engraved with the Verus logo. Verus Engineering supplies stainless hardware and nylon spacers with the two brackets, and the kit is made in the U.S.A., matching the build standard of the control arms it attaches to.

Is the bracket difficult to install?

No. Verus Engineering describes the kit as a simple bolt-on that joins the factory level sensor to its control arms, with every fastener supplied. Fit it in the same session as the rear lower control arms, while the rear suspension is apart, so the sensor is connected before the car returns to the road.

Description

Verus Engineering Auto Headlight Level Bracket Kit for ZN6 Toyota 86, Scion FR-S and ZC6 Subaru BRZ

Verus Engineering’s Auto Headlight Level Bracket Kit for ZN6 Toyota 86, Scion FR-S and ZC6 Subaru BRZ hooks the factory automatic headlight level sensor up to the Verus 7000 Series rear lower control arms. Late-model and European-market GT86, BRZ and FR-S cars can carry that sensor on the rear lower control arm, and Verus left the mount off its own arms to keep them the lightest on the market. Two laser-cut 5052 aluminum brackets and a hardware kit put it back; a car without the sensor has no need for this kit.

Why the Verus Arms Need It

Each Verus arm is CNC machined from 7000 series aluminum and weighs 2 lb 10 oz, close to a pound less per side than the factory part. Verus designed this bracket later, at the request of late-model and European owners, so only the cars that use the sensor carry the extra metal.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
