TEIN’s Racing Springs 18K 125mm are the rear springs in the spec TEIN publishes for its Super Racing dampers on the AP1 and AP2 Honda S2000. That kit runs the same 18.0 kgf/mm rate at both axles, with this 125 mm length at the rear and a longer 150 mm spring up front, all on a 58 mm ID. They suit an S2000 that spends its weekends at the track on that kit; on a car with factory springs they are overkill.

Same Rate, Different Length

Because TEIN specifies equal rates front and rear, length is what separates the two S2000 pairs, so check the 125 mm figure before ordering. TEIN racing springs use a coil with less material than its Standard springs, giving more stroke and lower weight. About TEIN

TEIN was founded in Yokohama, Japan, in 1985 by former rally mechanic Hakaru Ichino, joined soon after by driver Yoshio Fujimoto. The team reached the World Rally Championship in 1989, and in 1995 Fujimoto won the Safari Rally in a Toyota Celica GT-FOUR, the first Japanese driver to do so. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
