TEIN’s Mono Sport Coilovers for ZN6 Toyota 86 and Scion FR-S also fit the ZC6 BRZ and the second-generation GR86 and ZD8 BRZ, so one part number covers both generations. The kit pairs 8.0 kgf/mm front springs with a 9.0 kgf/mm rear, softer than the 10.0 kgf/mm TEIN fits to its Mono Racing kits for these cars. Design and Performance

Each front strut is built on the triple-tube Upright Strong Tube, which TEIN calls a first for mass-produced shock absorbers, and carries a pillow ball mount with camber adjustment. The knuckle bracket is a thick ribbed plate with a flanged edge and a conical spring washer to resist loosening, and model-specific brackets hold the brake hose and ABS sensor.

About TEIN

TEIN was founded in Yokohama, Japan, in 1985 by former rally mechanic Hakaru Ichino, joined soon after by driver Yoshio Fujimoto. The team reached the World Rally Championship in 1989, and in 1995 Fujimoto won the Safari Rally in a Toyota Celica GT-FOUR, the first Japanese driver to do so. TEIN launched its own dampers in 1990 and came to supply around 80 percent of the dampers in the N1 Taikyu endurance series. TEIN USA has served the Americas from Downey, California, since 2001.

Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
